What’s the difference between pressure and power washing? There is really no difference between the two terms. Either phrase can be substituted for our service. Don’t be concerned about the term “power” or “pressure". Window Genie technicians are trained to use the proper pressure to clean each surface.
-
Why should I choose a professional to power wash my home?Power washing can quickly become a science project without proper experience. The surface, cleaning product, pressure and type of power washer you’re using all play a vital role in how clean your surface will get. More importantly, for how long they will stay clean too. With over 12 years’ experience, QCSL understands what it takes to clean even the most difficult surfaces. From Stucco siding, to concrete (painted or unpainted), pitch & paver stones, we have the products, equipment and insurance to guarantee you a clean surface, every time.
-
Are the chemicals used safe? All of our Chemicals are safe to use on all surfaces that we will use them on, we make a strong effort to ensure the use of only “green” products. The surface you need cleaned will determine what chemical will be used. How dirty your surface is will determine how much chemical will be used. Our power washers allow for variable pressures to keep minimal pressure on a particular surface. Cleaning painted surfaces with our soft washing technique uses a mixture of eco-friendly chemicals and very low pressure. For some concrete cleaning jobs, we do not need any chemicals. Just good ole fashioned water pressure and a flat surface cleaner designed specifically for concrete cleaning.

What are the benefits of using the Pure Water System to clean Windows? Here at QCSL we use a pure water system to clean windows if required or possible! The benefits are speed of cleaning, the fact that as the water dries it leaves a completely crystal-clear finish as opposed to general tap water that dries to leave minerals on the windows (which is one of the main reasons for hard water stains and unsightly white spotting). Also, with using Pure Water Window Cleaning, we can clean windows with our carbon poles that can reach 3 to 4 floors high, reaching over flower beds etc and without the use of ladders or scaffolding.
-
Is mold a health hazard?Mold can have potential health effects and symptoms associated with exposures include can allergic reactions, asthma, and other respiratory complaints.
-
How can I get rid of Mold once and for all?It is impossible to eliminate all mold and mold spores in the indoor environment; and the best way to control indoor mold growth is to control moisture.
-
What are some of the things that have to be done to remove mold growth? If mold is a problem in your home or business, you must clean up the mold, find and eliminate the sources/cause of moisture. You should reduce your indoor humidity to between 30-60% to decrease mold growth, and you can helo to do this by: venting bathrooms, dryers, and other moisture-generating sources to the outside; increasing ventilation; and using exhaust fans whenever cooking. Clean mold off hard surfaces with water and detergent, and dry completely. Absorbent materials such as ceiling tiles, saturated gypsum tiles, that are moldy must be replaced. Clean and dry any damp or wet building materials and furnishings within 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth. Reduce the potential for condensation on cold surfaces (i.e., windows, piping, exterior walls, roof, or floors) by adding insulation. In areas where there is a constant moisture problem, do not install carpeting (i.e., by the fridge, by a sinks, or on concrete floors that have leaks or frequent condensation). Molds can be found almost anywhere; they can grow on virtually any substance, providing moisture is present. There are molds that can grow on wood, paper, carpet, and foods.
